Surgery

It is a branch of medical science which deals with surgical diseases with treatment, burns, injury. Deformities with the help of some instrumental technique to cut and remove of manipulated tissues of some vital organ of the living body and to help improve bodily function, appearance, or to repair unwanted ruptured areas.

There are different type of surgery and surgeries can be classified according to surgical urgency. The term used by National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death(NCEPOD) to classify the types of surgery were –

1. Emergency
2. Urgent
3. Scheduled and elective
