S.J.N Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital was established in 1975 in Guwahati Assam under the medical education and research department Government of Assam, presently it is under the AYUSH Directorate of Assam.
The institute affiliated to Shrimanta Sankardeva University of health Sciences Assam. A presently conducts the degree course in Homeopathy viz Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) since 2007 and Post Graduate courses are under process.

SJNHMCH is affiliated to Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences Assam, since 11th May 2010 and imports 5 ½ years undergraduate BHMS course to batch of 63 seat capacity for students. Since, the institute has come a long way in adding new dimensions to the homeopathic education in the region.
The outdoor patient department and 25 bedded indoor hospital attached to college of the hospital is providing curative, preventive homeopathic healthcare services and provide basic investigation facilities. All the facilities in the institute are free of cost to the public.
Our standards of Homeopathic education inculcates our students with homeopathic principles and latest scientific advances join us in our mission to make our institute a place where excellence dwells in high academic achievements and providing good health to the public.

Swahid Jadav Nath Homoeopathic Medical College And Hospital, Panjabari, Guwahati, is established in the year 1975 in the same campus of the SJNHM Guwahati – 781037. This is 25 beded IPD hospital has been providing homoeopathic treatment to the people all over the Assam even north eastern states with regular periodic medicinal supply from the Govt of Assam.

College Offers Undergraduate Course
BHMS or Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery in an undergraduate academic degree course which covers medical knowledge of the homoeopathic system. BHMS course is of 5 and 1/2 years duration which includes an internship.The course can be pursued after completion of 10+2 level of education with 50% marks in aggregate.
BHMS course allows candidates to choose any specialization such as Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Paediatrics, Psychiatrics, Organon of Medicine, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Practice of Medicine and Community Medicine to take care of patients with their homoeopathic study knowledge exposure.
