Obstetrics is a branch of medical science deals with the care of a women during and after pregnancy and Gynaecology is a branch of a medical science deals with any abnormal condition concern with the genital tract of women and the hygiene of women.

There is facilities of theoretical classes and also practical classes alongwithvarious models and charts.Therapeutic classes for gynaecologicalproblems and also some conditions of obstetrical problems are also done under the department.

Facilities for clinical classes of OBS&GYNAE at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Guwahati.

• Total 5 no of bed available for the Department in college Hospital. Classes are done on regular basis as per syllabus and curriculum of National commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)
