Swahid Jadav Nath Homoeopathic Medical College And Hospital, Panjabari, Guwahati, is established in the year 1975 in the same campus of the SJNHM Guwahati – 781037. This is 25 beded IPD hospital has been providing homoeopathic treatment to the people all over the Assam even north eastern states with regular periodic medicinal supply from the Govt of Assam.

The Sabitri Bala memorial OPD is the functioning OPD running from morning to evening hours on working days. The teaching faculty, medical officers along with the interns treat nearly about 100 patients in a day. OPD has 5 unit that is Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Paediatrics and the dental OPD. The hospital has been equipped with a minor OT, USG and X Ray services, biochemistry and pathological test laboratory providing multiple facilities to the patients under one roof.

Health camps, field visits and school health programmes are conducted regularly by the faculty, medical officers and interns which not only create awareness among the general public about good health as a priority but also keeps a check on the health and disease status in the locality. Seminars are conducted time to time among the faculties, medical officers and interns to upgradation of knowledge in the homoeopathic field of treatment.

The patients are treated according to the homoeopathic principles by faculty, medical officers and inters along with subordinates staff that is nursing staff, radiographer, laboratory technician, pharmacist, dresser, ward boy, ward girl, sweeper, choukidar. Hospital had its own ambulance facilities.

The hospital is upgraded time to time as per directions of directorate of AYUSH, Govt Of Assam and as per guidance by the National Commission of Homoeopathy, Govt of India.
